Extra bus 08:00 Reading to Bath Road
1st Jun 2026 - 22nd Jul 2026
From Monday 1st June, there will be an extra double deck bus on the 08:00 Lime 2 journey from Blagrave Street. This will operate Mondays to Fridays only.
This journey will run as far as Dwyer Road bus stop on Burghfield Road. Any customers for the Wren, Kings Academy Prospect or Hugh Faringdon should board this extra double deck bus.
The single deck bus will continue to Burghfield and Mortimer. Any customers for Willink School should wait to board the single deck bus.
Please check the front of the bus before boarding.

This is due to a New Cycle Lane Install.

Royal Ascot one way diversions
Today 10:00 - 20th Jun 2026
This year’s Royal Ascot Race Meeting takes place between Tuesday 16th June 2026 until Saturday 20th June 2026.
A temporary one-way system will be in place in the morning and afternoon/evening each day.
This will affect London 701 journeys between 10:00 -14:00 these journeys will U-turn at Heatherwood Roundabout ,Fernbank Road, New Road, Forest Road, Hatch Lane then onto North Street to resume normal route towards Legoland.
This will affect London 701 journeys between 17:00-20:00 towards Bracknell will divert via North Street, Lovel Road, Hatchet Lane, forest Road ,New Road, onto Fernbank Road ,London Road resuming Normal route from Heatherwood Hospital .

This will affect 702 journeys and diversion as follows

After serving Prince Albert PH bus stop will be diverted via Imperial Road, Goslar Way into Frances Road to then revert back to normal route from Windsor High Street bus stop.
Journeys towards Legoland
After serving Parish Church bus stop will be diverted via Frances Road Alma Road onto Goslar Way , Imperial Road then revert back to normal route from Prince Albert PH bus stop.
Customers should use King Edwards VII Hospital or Windsor Parish Church bus stops as alternative during this period.

During the changing of the Guard, Sheet Street and High Street in Windsor are closed so buses cannot pass.
