Suspension of Headley Road Circle stop towards Bulmershe

The Headley Road Circle bus stop towards Bulmershe will be out of use from Tuesday 18th August until Thursday 20th August 2026

This is due to Emergency works by Thames Water.

Customers are advised to use the following stops while Headley Road Circle bus stops are closed.

For Orange 13 please use Wilmington Close bus stop on Butts Hill Road or The Chequers bus stops instead.

For Little Orange 19a please use Headley Park bus stop on (Headley Road East) or The Chequers bus stop.

Suspension of The Thatchers Bus stop towards Woodley

17th - 21st Aug 2026

The Thatcher’s bus Stop on Fairwater Drive towards Woodley will be out of use from Monday 7th August until Friday 21st August 2026

This is due to Thames Water.

Customers are advised to use the Campbell Road or Livingstone Gardens Bus Stop.

Closure of Woodlands Avenue between Fairwater Drive and Howth Drive

UPDATE

the below closure on Woodlands Avenue will finish on Sunday 23rd August 2026.

Woodlands Avenue will be closed between Bulmershe Sports Centre, junction of Fairwater drive to Junction of Howth Drive, from Monday 27th July until Sunday 23rd August 2026.

This is due to new road layouts by Wokingham council.

Customers wanting Bulmershe Sports Centre will need to use stops along Howth Drive and for Church Road will need to use temp stops along Pitts Lane.

All stops along the diversion will be Observed.

Customers using Orange 14 towards Reading will need to use stop on the opposite side of the road along Fairwater Drive and Nightingale Road the same stops as the Orange 13 Uses.

During this closure orange 13 and 14 will need to divert as follows:

Orange 13 will divert via Pitts Lane , Shepherds House Hill roundabout, Reading Road, Howth Drive then left into Woodlands Avenue becoming Crockhamwell Road, into Nightingale Road. Then right into Campbell Road left Back onto Fairwater Drive to resume normal route From Campbell Road bus stop.

Orange 14 will after serving Mulberry Close by turning right into Campbell Road, then Left onto Fairwater Drive , Nightingale Road, Crockhamwell Road becoming Woodlands Avenue, Howth Drive, Reading Road onto Shepherds House Hill Roundabout , Pitts Lane to resume normal route from Whitegates Lane Bus stops
