Closure of the Westbound carriageway on Theale High Street

The westbound carriageway on Theale High Street will be closed from Wednesday 29th January until Tuesday 22nd April 2025. Putting the eastbound lane as one way only through the High Street
This is for works by SGN.
During this time Jet Black 1 services from Newbury to Reading will not be affected. This will only affect journeys from Reading to Newbury services.
Signs will be posted on all Westbound bus stops advising passengers to use the Eastbound side of the road for all journeys to and from Newbury.
Jet Black 1 journeys to Newbury from Reading will be diverting after serving Arlington Business Park , we will divert along the A4 Bath Road, to the next A4 roundabout taking the exit onto The Green. Then we shall serve Theale High Street along Eastbound corridor serving all the same stops we would when doing our outbound journey to Reading. Then after the Brewery Court bus stop we shall enter back onto to Bath Road the A4 continuing normal route from Wigmore Lane bus stop.
Passengers are advised to please make sure they are boarding the correct buses as we shall have the jet black 1 to Reading and to Newbury serving the same stops while the one way system is in place.

Emergency closure of Kidmore Road (Caversham)

Due to an emergency road closure of Kidmore Road by Sandcroft Road and Shepherds Lane, Pink 22 & School Bus 81 are on diversion.
Buses are diverting via Richmond Road, Upper Woodcote Road, Shepherds Lane and resuming normal route from Hilltop Road bus stop on Woodcote Way.
We are unable to serve the following stops: Richmond Road, Uplands Road, Kidmore Road & Shepherds Lane.
UPDATE
Today, 31st January 2025, we have put a temporary bus stop on Shepherds Lane, before buses turn right into Woodcote Way. Customers are able to board and alight buses at this temporary stop.

Changing of the Guard - diversion

Flightline 703
During the changing of the Guard, Sheet Street and High Street in Windsor are closed so buses cannot pass. This means London Line 702 & Flightline 703 will divert away from bus stops in this area and divert via Alma Road and Arthur Road - please check if the Changing of the Guard is happening on dates that you are travelling to avoid being caught out. This is for works by Morrisons Water on behalf of Thames Water.
During this time Purple 17 will be diverting via Berkshire Drive , left Hilden's Drive, left City Road then left Park Lane terminating at City Road inbound bus stops. Journeys towards Wokingham Road will start from City Road.
Sky Blue 15 journeys to Tilehurst Water Tower will follow the same route as the purple 17s, terminating at City Road inbound.
Sky blue 15 to Calcot Sainsbury's will divert in both directions via The Mayfair, Halls Road then normal route to/from Langley Hill.
School buses 87 and 88 to/from Little Heath and Theale Green Schools will divert via The Mayfair and Halls Road in both directions.

Monday 17th February 2025 until 7th May 2025 Church Road in Earley will be closed between Woodlands Avenue and Pitts Lane. This Is for ongoing major gas pipe replacement on behalf of SGN.
This is due to major Gas works by SGN.
Customers are advised to use the temporary stops listed below during the closure for the culver lane stops and woodlands avenue stops that will not be served during the closure.
There will be temporary stops on Fairwater for route 14 just before the mini roundabout and for route 13 there will be a temporary stop just before the roundabout on woodlands avenue outside number 119.
There will also be temp stops outside number 4 Pitts Lane for route 13 and outside number 5 Pitts Lane for route 14.
Orange 13 will divert via Pitts Lane , Shepherds house hill , Reading Road into Howth Drive onto woodlands avenue then resume normal route from Fairwater Avenue.
Orange 14 will divert via woodlands avenue into Howth Drive, Reading Road, Shepherds house Hill into Pitts Lane resuming normal route from Whitegates Lane.

During this time off peak Little orange 19a and 19c journeys via culver Lane will be diverted via Palmerstone Road.
Little orange 19a will divert via Palmerstone Road onto Culver Lane and then normal route from Eastcourt Avenue hail and rail.
Little orange 19c will divert via Palmerstone Road , church Road then normal route from Bulmershe Court.

Weekend closure of M4 junction 12 westbound towards Newbury

Weekend closure of M4 junction 12 westbound side of the roundabout towards Newbury from 21:00 on Friday 28th February 2025 until 05:00 Monday 3rd March 2025.
This is due to highway maintenance to Junction 12 Bridge.
This will affect all services towards Newbury During the Weekend, we will be serving Theale High Street as normal during the closure.
Jet Black 1 will be diverting via A4 Bath Road, Langley Hill becoming Park Lane into School Road, continuing along down Kentwood Hill. Turning left onto Oxford Road towards Purely. Then onto the A329 Purley Rise becoming Reading Road towards Pangbourne, from Pangbourne we will divert via Tidmarsh Road to the A4 roundabout running back along the A4 to pick up normal route from The Green.
No stops will be missed during this time
