Due to Knowsley Road between Long Lane and Addiscombe Chase being blocked due to roadworks, the sky blue 16 is following a diversion:
sky blue 16 towards Purley will divert via Long Lane, A329 U-turn at Knowsley Road roundabout & New Hill, serving all stops along the diversion.
sky blue 16 towards Central Reading will divert via New Hill, U-turn at Knowsley Road roundabout A329 & Long Lane
Diversion Bus Stop Information:
sky blue 16 while on diversion towards Purley will not call at 'Addiscombe Chase', 'Warley Rise' and 'Goodliffe Gardens'. Towards Central Reading will not call at 'Goodliffe Gardens', 'Warley Rise', 'Talbot Way' and 'Addiscombe Chase'.
For services towards Purley, please use 'Denefield School' or 'Footpath to Highfield Road'.
For services towards Central Reading, please use 'Footpath to Highfield Road' or 'Denefield School'.
Alternatively, you can use stops along the roads listed on the diversion route where bus stops are available. Please clearly hail the bus as it approaches.

Suspension of Canterbury Road bus stops in Both Directions

Closure of Woodlands Avenue junction with Church Road

Woodlands Avenue will be closed at the junction with Church Road from Monday 24th August until Friday 4th September 2026
This is due to new road layouts by Wokingham council.
Customers wanting Bulmershe Sports Centre will need to use stops along Fairwater Drive Water and for Church Road will need to use temp stops along Pitts Lane.
All stops along the diversion will be Observed.
Orange 13 will divert via Pitts Lane , Shepherds House Hill roundabout, Reading Road, Howth Drive then right onto Woodlands Avenue then left into Fairwater Drive to resume normal line of route.
Orange 14 will after serving Antrim Road bus stop will turn right into Woodlands Avenue, Howth Drive, Reading Road onto Shepherds House Hill Roundabout , Pitts Lane to resume normal route from Whitegates Lane Bus stops

Closure of Woodlands Ave affecting Football services F30 & F32
Woodlands Avenue is closed between Bulmershe Sports Centre, junction of Fairwater drive to Junction of Church Lane.

lime 2, 2a is affected by a road closure on Padworth Road for roadworks. This is affecting the route between Burghfield and Tadley AWE. Buses are diverting via Reading Road, Victoria Road, Stephens Road, West End Road & Welshmans Road in both directions. Stops between 'Three Firs Way' and 'Easter Park' will not be served in either direction. There are delays of up to 10 minutes. We apologise for the disruption to your journey. During the Changing of the Guard, Sheet Street and High Street is closed to traffic.
During these times, London Line 702 & Flightline 703 will divert via Alma Road and Arthur Road and will be unable to serve stops along Frances Road and Windsor High Street. This usually occurs on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between 10:30 and 11:25.
If you are travelling during these times, please use the nearby alternative stops on Charles Street (located just off the junctions of Goswell Road and Victoria Street).

The section of Wellington Street in Slough from Sainsburys Roundabout to Grammar School will be closed from 2nd September 2026 to 18th September 2026 between 20:00 and 05:00 each night (Weekdays only).
This is due to resurfacing roadwork.
Services 702 will be diverted via Yew Tree Road and Upton Court Road in both directions.

The inbound A33 Carriage way between long water Avenue and Island Farm Road north bound will be closed from 19:00 on Thursday 3rd September until 01:00 Friday 4th September 2026
This is due to resurfacing of the carriage way.
Greenwave 50, and Mereoak Park & Ride 600 will be diverting via Imperial Way, Basingstoke Road, then down Rose Kiln Lane to resume normal line of route.
Greenwave 50a will divert via Imperial Way, Basingstoke Road, then into Manor farm Road serving Kennett island towards Reading in reverse. So please make sure you check which way the bus is going before boarding.
Northbound only customers will need to use stops in Kennett island stops towards Reading on the reverse side of the road
