Kennylands Road Road Reopened After Planned Works

Planned roadworks at Kennylands Road are now complete. pink 25 has returned to its normal route between Sonning Common and Peppard Common and is no longer diverting. There may still be slight delays while the service returns to its scheduled times. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused. We apologise for the disruption to your journey

Closure of George Street between Gosbrook Road and Queens Road

The section of George Street between Gosbrook Road and Queens Road will be closed on Wednesday 19th August and Thursday 20th August 2026. Between 08:00-17:00 each day.
This is for resurfacing work by Reading Borough Council.
Customers needing Caversham Laundry will need to use Elizabeth house and Westfield Road bus stops
• pink 25 towards Peppard Common & Central Reading will divert via Vastern Road, Caversham Bridge, Church Street & Prospect Street, serving all stops along the diversion.
• pink 25a towards Sonning Common will divert via Vastern Road, Caversham Bridge, Church Street & Prospect Street, serving all stops along the diversion.
• aqua 28 & aqua 28a towards Henley-on-Thames & Central Reading will divert via Vastern Road, Caversham Bridge, Church Street, Prospect Street & Henley Road, serving all stops along the diversion.
• little berry 29 towards Lower Caversham & Central Reading towards Amersham Road will need to divert via Vastern Road, Caversham Bridge, Church Street along Gosbrook Road to resume normal line of route from Washington Road bus stop.Little Berry 29 towards Town Centre will follow Little Berry 29a route back into Reading.
