Extra bus 08:00 Reading to Bath Road
1st Jun 2026 - 22nd Jul 2026
From Monday 1st June, there will be an extra double deck bus on the 08:00 Lime 2 journey from Blagrave Street. This will operate Mondays to Fridays only.
This journey will run as far as Dwyer Road bus stop on Burghfield Road. Any customers for the Wren, Kings Academy Prospect or Hugh Faringdon should board this extra double deck bus.
The single deck bus will continue to Burghfield and Mortimer. Any customers for Willink School should wait to board the single deck bus.
Please check the front of the bus before boarding.

Closure of Barkham Road from Edney's Hill to Molly Millars Lane
Today 19:00 - 20th Jun 2026
Barkham Road will be closed over night between 19:00-06:00 each night between Tuesday 16th June and Saturday 20th June 2026.
This is due to work by Volker highways
Leopard 3 will be diverting during this time.
During this time we will not be able to use any stops along Barkham Road until Molly Millars Lane.
Customers will need to use Ratepayers Hall and Barkham Ride bus stop on Finchampstead Road for Barkham Ride. Customers needing any stops along Barkham Road will need to use Molly Millars Lane bus stop or a stop along Finchampstead Road
Leopard 3 towards Wokingham Will divert as follows via Finchampstead Road into Molly Millars Lane to resume Normal route from Molly Millars lane bus stop on Barkham Road.
Leopard 3 Towards Reading will divert as follows after serving Molly Millars Lane bus stop on Barkham Road into Molly Millars Lane, Finchampstead Road to resume normal line of route from Ratepayers Hall bus stop.

Farley More Lake - Stops suspended

The Farley Moor lake stops will be suspended from Wednesday, 13 May 2026 until Friday, 7 August 2026 due to close proximity of roadworks at the stop.
Please use the following alternative stops:
• lion 4a (towards Bracknell): Milbanke Way or Easthampstead Road
• lion 4a (towards Central Reading): Easthampstead Road or Milbanke Way

Woodlands Avenue will be closed in both directions between Fairwater Drive and Howth Drive. From Thursday 28th May until Friday 19th June 2026.
This is due to a New Cycle Lane Install.
Little Orange 19C will divert as Follows:
Fairwater Drive, Nightingale Road, onto Crockhamwell Road, Lytham Road to resume normal route from the Chequers Bus stop.

This year’s Royal Ascot Race Meeting takes place between Tuesday 16th June 2026 until Saturday 20th June 2026.
A temporary one-way system will be in place in the morning and afternoon/evening each day.
This will affect London 701 journeys between 10:00 -14:00 these journeys will U-turn at Heatherwood Roundabout ,Fernbank Road, New Road, Forest Road, Hatch Lane then onto North Street to resume normal route towards Legoland.
This will affect London 701 journeys between 17:00-20:00 towards Bracknell will divert via North Street, Lovel Road, Hatchet Lane, forest Road ,New Road, onto Fernbank Road ,London Road resuming Normal route from Heatherwood Hospital .

Closure of St Leonards Road Windsor from 12:00 on Monday 15th June until 19:00 on Friday 26th June 2026.
This will affect 702 journeys and diversion as follows
Journeys towards Slough & London
After serving Prince Albert PH bus stop will be diverted via Imperial Road, Goslar Way into Frances Road to then revert back to normal route from Windsor High Street bus stop.
Journeys towards Legoland
After serving Parish Church bus stop will be diverted via Frances Road Alma Road onto Goslar Way , Imperial Road then revert back to normal route from Prince Albert PH bus stop.
Customers should use King Edwards VII Hospital or Windsor Parish Church bus stops as alternative during this period.
