      The Stoney Lane bus stops on Kiln Road in both directions will be out of use on Saturday 20th June and Sunday 21st June 2026

      This is due to underground cabling work.

      Customers are advised to use the Cresswell Road or Cromwell Road bus stop instead

    • Closure or Reading Road for Box Cart Race

      20th - 21st Jun 2026

      The Burghfield Box Cart Bash will take place on Sunday 22nd June 2025.

      Part of the Reading Road will be closed between 0800 and 1900.

      During this period,

      All stops along the diversion will be observed

      outbound lime 2a journeys will be diverting via The Hatch Gate, Sulhamstead Road, Clayhill road, along Hawksworth Road to u turn at the roundabout to resume normal line of route.

      Inbound journeys run as follows from The Close along Clayhill Road, Sulhamstead Road, then left back onto normal route.

    • Suspension of Burghfield Golf Course bus stops in Both Directions

      The Burghfield Golf Course bus stops on Burghfield Road will be out of use from Monday 8th June until Monday 20th July 2026.

      This is due to utilities works

      Customers are advised to use the Cunning Man bus stops instead.

    • Extra bus 08:00 Reading to Bath Road

      1st Jun 2026 - 22nd Jul 2026

      From Monday 1st June, there will be an extra double deck bus on the 08:00 Lime 2 journey from Blagrave Street. This will operate Mondays to Fridays only.

      This journey will run as far as Dwyer Road bus stop on Burghfield Road. Any customers for the Wren, Kings Academy Prospect or Hugh Faringdon should board this extra double deck bus.

      The single deck bus will continue to Burghfield and Mortimer. Any customers for Willink School should wait to board the single deck bus.

      Please check the front of the bus before boarding.

    Reading - Bracknell via Wokingham, Great Hollands

    • Road closure on Skimped Hill Lane (Bracknell) due to roadworks. Diversions on the lion 4a & London Line 701

      Today 08:00 - 22nd Jun 2026

      Due to roadworks, Skimped Hill Lane (Bracknell) is currently closed between Market Street and Skimped Hill Lane. This closure is expected to end at 18:00 Monday 22nd June. As a result, the lion 4a & London Line 701 are following diversions with delays of up to 10 mins expected:

      • lion 4a: towards Bracknell and towards Central Reading will divert via Millennium Way & Church Road with delays of up to 10 mins.
      • London Line 701: towards Legoland and towards Central Reading will divert via A322 Downshire Way, Horse and Groom RBT, A3095 Bagshot Road with delays of up to 10 mins.

      The following stops cannot be served:
      • lion 4a: Unable to serve Skimped Hill Lane - Health Centre' or 'High Street (Bracknell)' Please use 'Arlington Square' or 'Bracknell Bus Station'.
      • London line 701: Unable to serve Skimped Hill Lane - Health Centre'. Please use 'Bracknell Bus Station'.

      Vandyke and Viking bus stops on the Ringmead will be out of use From Monday 26th May until Wednesday 24th June 2026

      This is due to works by Bracknell Forest Council.

      The Farley Moor lake stops will be suspended from Wednesday, 13 May 2026 until Friday, 7 August 2026 due to close proximity of roadworks at the stop.

      • lion 4a (towards Bracknell): Milbanke Way or Easthampstead Road
      • lion 4a (towards Central Reading): Easthampstead Road or Milbanke Way
