Winnersh Triangle p&r buses suspended from Sat 28 mar

8 months ago Wed 25th Mar 2020

Due to an extremely low level of customers using the park & ride buses at Winnersh Triangle, we have unfortunately had to take the difficult decision to stop running this service for the foreseeable future. The buses will run until the end of service on Friday 27 March. There will be no buses on Saturday 28 March.

park and use the lion as an alternative route

The good news for customers who are still using the service is that the car park will remain open and there's just a short walk to the lion bus stops at Cavendish Gardens on the A329. Just walk over the railway bridge and it's a few minutes away.

parksaver tickets still valid

Customers who already have parksaver tickets will be able to use them on the lion 4 and X4 from Saturday.

car park barrier will still open

Any tickets bought on the lion will not include a QR code to open the barrier, but we have been assured by Wokingham Borough Council that the barrier will still open as a temporary measure as you approach it in your car without having to scan a ticket.
