spring bank holiday Mon 31 May
Another bank holiday is upon us, but the great news is this is the first one in a long time where most things are back to normal and open! After the restrictions were eased further on Monday 17 May, we can now enjoy food and drinks inside with our friends, catch a film at the cinema, or wander round an art gallery.
The next bank holiday is the May Spring bank holiday on Monday 31 May.
bus times for the bank holiday
To keep things simple, all our routes, including Green Line 702/703, will be running to a Sunday service for the bank holiday.
It's easy to check what your bus is doing, simply look at the Sunday times in your normal timetable booklet or check here. You can also check your timetables in our app too.
enjoy a day out with your bubble for less
With restrictions now eased for indoor entertainment, it's a great time to remind everyone about our great value group tickets.
During the bank holiday, and throughout half term, the simplyReading group ticket will be at a reduced rate of £6 – normally £9 – and the simplyNetwork version is £10 – normally £15. The tickets allow up to four to travel together all day – any combination of adults and children.
There are also other great fares for customers returning to our services for the first time such as daysaver5 and easysaver 10 that help save you money even if you aren't travelling regularly with us.
We also need to remind you all (not that you probably need reminding!) that, as is now the norm, you must wear a face covering for the duration of your journey on our buses – unless you are exempt.
