Advance fares
If you are going to be travelling a lot on our buses, the easiest, and cheapest, way of buying is in advance. You can buy smartcards online or at the bus shop in the Broad Street Mall, Reading, or for the tech-savvy, why not buy tickets on your mobile using our app?
The ticket you need will depend on the area you travel in and the length of ticket you need.

simplyReading
The simplyReading area is where most of our buses run - it's basically what most people would think of as 'Reading town.' If you travel outside of Reading, scroll down (or click the links) to see our other fare zones - simplyReading Plus, simplyNetwork, simplyNewbury & Thatcham, simplyBracknell & Wokingham and simplySouthBracknell.

saver 10s - for occasional travellers
A product that gives you 10 single journeys at a discounted price. Each time you travel it deducts one journey from your smartcard. There's no expiry* so it's perfect for occasional travellers. These products are only valid in the simplyReading zone.

simplyReading Plus
SimplyReading Plus is the new name for our simplyWokingham & Reading zone, which still covers the same areas before but now also includes Theale Green School.
The simplyReading Plus zone covers buses between Wokingham & Reading, but also includes buses from Arborfield, Shinfield, Spencers Wood, Burghfield Common, Henley, Theale Green School and Sonning Common. For customers in these areas who travel to and from Reading, this means you don't need to buy a simplyNetwork ticket (unless you are travelling elsewhere of course!)
