School buses 2019/20
We have made some changes to the way our school buses are run to make it easier for you to find the right route and right ticket.
You can find your route below and see the map and timetables for your school.
timetables and route maps for schools
We are delighted to be able to share the timetables and route maps for each school service. Click the links by the name of your school to download the map or timetable showing which buses run to the school.
The buses are generally the same as last year, but have been renumbered 80-92 to make it easier to find your service. We have also introduced new routes for Bohunt and Reading Girls' schools.

Fares and tickets
The ticket you need will depend on where your school is and where you start/end your journey from!
If your journey is entirely in the simplyReading area, then you need a simplyReading ticket or pass.
If your journey starts or ends in the simplyNetwork area, then you will need a simplyNetwork ticket or pass - if your school is in the simplyNetwork area (Bohunt, Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge and Theale Green) then you will definitely need a simplyNetwork ticket.
If you check the map for your school, it will show you where the fare boundaries are for that school to help you find the right ticket.
We have changed from the Silverstars passes to make things simpler and easier to use - and you get the bonus that period passes can be used on other services in the area for which they are valid. E.g. a simplyReading Boost annual ticket can be used on the school buses as well as on other services around Reading.
