Woodlands Avenue closure diversions

Woodlands Avenue is closed between Bulmershe Sports Centre and Fairwater Drive to Howth Drive until Monday 31 August, due to new road layout works by Wokingham Council. During this time, orange 13/14 and little oranges 19a/19c buses will be diverted in Woodley.

Full details of the diversion can be found below:

orange 13

Following the Whitegates Lane bus stop at the mini roundabout, buses on orange 13 will bear left onto Pitts Lane, continuing along the road to Shepherds Hill roundabout.

Buses will then proceed onto Shepherds House Hill roundabout, taking the third exit onto Reading Road, before turning right into Howth Drive and continuing to the end.

Buses will then turn left onto Woodlands Avenue, then Crockhamwell Road, continuing to the mini roundabout where they will turn right into Nightingale Road.

Buses will continue to the next mini roundabout, turning right into Campbell Road, following the road to the end before turning left onto Fairwater Drive, and resuming the normal route from the Campbell Road bus stop.

orange 14

Following the Mulberry Close bus stop, buses on orange 14 will continue ahead and turn right at the mini roundabout onto Campbell Road, then following the road to the end before turning left onto Fairwater Drive.

At the end of Fairwater Drive, buses will turn left onto Nightingale Road and continue to the mini roundabout, taking the first exit onto Crockhamwell Road, then Woodlands Avenue.

Buses will then turn right into Howth Drive, following the road to the end before turning left onto Reading Road.

Buses will then turn left onto Shepherds House Hill roundabout and take the first left into Pitts Lane, continuing to the mini roundabout where they will take the second exit to resume the normal route from the Whitegates Lane bus stop.

little oranges 19a

Following the Beechwood Avenue bus stop, buses on little oranges 19a will turn right onto Howth Drive, continuing to the end of the road before turning left onto Reading Road.

Buses will then continue along Reading Road, bearing left at Shepherds House Hill roundabout and taking the first exit onto Pitts Lane.

Buses will continue along Pitts Lane to the mini roundabout, where they will take the second exit onto Culver Lane and resume the normal route.

little oranges 19c

Following the Eastcourt Avenue bus stop, buses on little oranges 19c will continue along Culver Lane to the mini roundabout, where they will take the first exit onto Pitts Lane.

At the end of the road, buses will head onto Shepherds House Hill roundabout and take the third exit onto Reading Road, before turning right onto Howth Drive.

Buses will then continue along Howth Drive, turning left into Beechwood Avenue to resume the normal route from the Beechwood Avenue bus stop.
