We’ve won an award!

We are thrilled to share that we have won the Passenger Transport award at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Awards for Excellence, which took place on the evening of Thursday 28 September in London.
The Passenger Transport Award encompasses the achievement of outstanding improvements in passenger service, implementing new technology, equipment or information management, demonstrating improvements in organisation or human resources and championing environmental sensitivity.
This prestigious awards ceremony brings together people from across the logistics and transport industries in order to celebrate these achievements and individuals.
There were a record number of entries for the awards this year, and we faced strong competition with both Lumo and The Elizabeth Line (TfL) being shortlisted in the same category as us.
Faced with such strong competition, we were even more excited when it was revealed that we had won the award. Our win highlights our commitment to getting people back on buses and delivering the best experience possible for all our customers and employees.
We also say well done to our Commercial Manager, Gemma Redson, who was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the same ceremony but narrowly missed out.
We would like to thank all our employees who work tirelessly every day to help make this win possible. Awards such as these would not be possible without the hard work and commitment of our Reading Buses team and for this, we thank them all.
