Timetable change for summer
Summer is coming and that means we take the opportunity to look at some of our timetables to ensure that the service we provide meets the demand! For some of our most frequent services, this means reducing the frequency over summer when fewer people are travelling (which also helps let our employees have well earned holidays!) as well as assessing other routes that may need more permanent changes.
The table below outlines which routes are changing and what those changes will be - there will also be PDFs of the new timetables that you can download soon.
route | changes | type of change | timetable |
---|---|---|---|
jet black | Some tweaks to times to ensure the timetables reflect the reality on the road. No change to frequency | permanent | click here for times |
emerald 5 | Slight change to peak time buses, but frequency remains up to every 10 minutes. | summer only | click here for times |
emerald 6 | Slight change to peak time buses, but frequency remains up to every 10 minutes. | summer only | click here for times |
purple 17 | Peak time frequency reduced from up to every 8 minutes to up to every 10 minutes. | summer only | click here for times |
yellow 26 | Slight reduction in frequency for summer - buses will run up to every 15 minutes. | summer only | click here for times |
royal blue 33 | Peak time frequency reduced to every 20 minutes from every 15 minutes. | permanent | click here for times |
There will also be changes to Green Line 703 from Sunday 24 July - which includes a massive increase in frequency thanks to our partnership with Heathrow Airport. Find out more here.
