Timetable (and fares) change Monday 29 Oct

158 days ago Thu 18th Oct 2018

We have been in talks with Slough Borough Council and are now happy to confirm that we have taken over the running of route 5 in Slough commercially!

We will be running the section between Slough Bus Station and Moor Furlong with Slough Council providing funding for the Cippenham section past this point.

Timetable change

We have taken this opportunity to tweak some of the timings on this service. There will now be an extra early morning journey from Slough Bus Station Monday to Fridays and the Saturday times have been changed to better reflect how the buses work in current traffic conditions.

Fares change - including lower fares for more younger customers!

The great news for younger customers is that we are now introducing our Boost scheme for route 5! This means that anyone aged 18 & under can get cheaper fares. We will also be extending the 21 & under category to include customers who attend the following local colleges (when showing valid ID):

  • East Berkshire College
  • Uxbridge College

Click here for information on Boost.

We will also be changing the special introductory single fares - with the adult single changing to £2.50 and the Boost (now available for 15-18 year olds as well!) single becoming £1.90. There are no changes to any other prices.

Please note, Boost is not available on Thames Valley routes 4 and 6 or on Green Line.
