Thames Valley Buses to launch a new app

Our good friends at Thames Valley Buses have some exciting news for their customers - they are launching a new app!

It's going to have the same great features as the Reading Buses app - but for Thames Valley!

The app will be available after midday on Monday 3 February (subject to App and Play Store processing) - just search "Thames Valley Buses".

Mobile tickets

Buy mobile tickets securely with a debit/credit card and scan when boarding – no more searching for cash! You will need internet access to buy and activate your ticket, and you will need to check in with internet access on the app every three days when using period tickets to keep them active.

Live Buses and Real Time Departures

Browse and view buses and stops on the map, explore upcoming departures, or check out the routes from a stop to see where you could travel next.

Plan your journey

Work out your daily commute or tomorrow’s trip to the shops. With over 11,000 locations to search for, there’s plenty to keep you busy.

Timetables

It took some doing, but we’ve squeezed all of the routes and times into the palm of your hand!

Save your regular journeys and bus stops (with live times) and find them on one convenient menu.

Service updates

This one’s last because no one likes disruptions to their journey, but now you’ll be able to keep up to date with service changes directly inside the app.
