Reading Buses Open Day 2024

We’re excited to announce that our open day is returning for 2024!

Taking place from 11am until 4pm on Sunday 30 June at our Great Knollys Street depot; the open day will be free to attend and is sure to be a great day out for everyone.

Our open day will be helping to raise funds for our Charity of the Year, Royal Berks Charity.

As in previous years, our open day will include a wide range of stalls, activities, food and behind-the-scenes tours around our depot.

As usual, there will be a large array of food for you to enjoy during your visit including:

• BBQ - featuring burgers, sausages and vegetarian options
• Curry plus samosas and onion bhajis
• Large selection of cakes
• Strawberries and cream
• Tea, coffee and soft drinks
• Candy floss
• Ice cream

There will, of course, be lots of activities to keep everyone happy!

• Get your name up in lights - we put your name on the front display of a bus

There will also be the usual free shuttle bus between the depot and Reading town centre. The timetable, including where the bus stops, is below:

The 4.00pm bus is the last trip to get you back up town.
