New Chief Executive Officer

We are delighted to announce that Robert Williams has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer here, at Reading Buses. Robert, who is currently the Commercial Director of Stagecoach South West, will start post in October.

Robert has worked with Stagecoach for over 14 years, progressing through the ranks from:

• Commercial Officer, to
• Commercial Manager in Oxford, to
• Commercial Director in the South West.

Robert was born and raised in Reading, starting his career as a conductor for Reading Mainline back in 1999 – by then, under Reading Transport ownership.

He has an excellent understanding of bus operations, a huge enthusiasm and passion for Reading and its buses and is well respected across the UK bus industry.
