A huge thank you!

With the sun shining, stalls bustling, BBQ sizzling, and games, face painting, and bus washes underway, our 12th charity open day was incredibly popular!
Many of you waited excitedly as the Mayor of Reading, joined by Councillor Tony Page and East Reading MP Matt Rodda, cut the ribbon and announced the open day officially open.
Throughout the day, thousands of you came together for fun and games, and to experience all things bus related. From behind the scenes tours, to climbing aboard and exploring our fleet rainbow, to riding a bus as it splashed through our bus wash, our open day proved ever popular. Our stalls, games, face painting, tea and cakes, BBQ and ice creams, also proved a huge hit!
The laughter and smiles you had clearly showed you had a great time, thank you so much to all those who came and gave generously to Cancer Research Kids and Teens.
We'd also like to thank our phenomenal volunteers and our sponsors and friends from Ticketer, Synectics, Optare, the Forgotten British Gurkha and The UK Garrison.
And of course, we would like to thank all of you lovely people who gave generously towards our Charity of the Year - we will be announcing our final total shortly so keep checking back!
