Hospital park & ride 300 temporary timetable and diversion

Please note that due to the works overrunning, they are now expected to be completed on Friday 24 November. The temporary timetable will remain in operation until then however please note that the timetable on our journey planner and website will not reflect this. Due to road maintenance work on the entrance slip road from London Road to Thames Valley Park, we have introduced a temporary timetable and diversion on hospital park & ride 300 to help reduce disruption. This timetable will be in place for three weeks from Monday 30 October until Friday 24 November when the works will be completed.

During the period of this temporary timetable, from 9am and 4pm buses will only be running between Mereoak park&ride and Royal Berkshire Hospital and won’t be serving Thames Valley park & ride with buses picking up from the stop outside the Royal Berkshire Hospital and not at the stop across the road.

Buses outside of these times will be serving Thames Valley park & ride and the hospital bus stops as normal, however they will run on a diversion route which, following the stop at Royal Berkshire Hospital will see them divert from London Road southeast on the A329 to Winnersh, where they will exit and then rejoin the A329 Northwest towards Thames Valley park & ride.

Due to this diversion, journey time for these services will be slightly increased.

The journey towards the hospital from Thames Valley park & ride will be unaffected and run as normal.

Buses will continue run up to every 20 minutes Monday to Friday, starting around 6.30am and finishing around 7pm.
