Henley Royal Regatta 2026

The Henley Royal Regatta takes place from Tuesday 30 June to Sunday 5 July, and if you're planning to go, the easiest way to get there and back is with aqua 28. We'll also be running special late-night services on Friday and Saturday too so you get back home safe from the after party!

Buses on aqua 28 depart up to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sunday from Central Reading at Friar Street stop FC and Forbury Road stop EL. Journey time to Henley Station is around 40 minutes.

Returning to Reading, aqua 28 runs up to every 30 minutes until late from Henley Station, with the last bus leaving Hart Street at 11.45pm.
Please note that during the Regatta we expect that buses may be delayed due to increased traffic.

Staying late? On Friday 3 July and Saturday 4 July, we'll be running a special N28 service between Henley Station and Reading from 12.15am until 2.45am with buses running every 30 minutes towards Reading calling at all of the usual aqua 28 stops.
Special fares apply on N28 with single, group and all day tickets available, allowing to you travel to Henley on aqua 28 and back on N28.
