Easter service levels
We know that Easter normally means family gatherings and time off with friends, but that this year, like last, we all have to do things a little differently.
As many of the shops are still shut over the Easter weekend, and leisure activities likewise, we have had a long hard think about what service levels are needed over the weekend. Normally, Good Friday has its own special timetable to reflect the fact the its both a public holiday and a Friday, but this year, things are different.
Easter weekend runs from Friday 2 April to Monday 5 April.
Easter service day-by-day
We have decided to keep things simple this year and just run buses to either a standard Saturday or Sunday timetable on each of the days over the Easter weekend.
Good Friday - Buses will run to a Sunday service
Holy Saturday - Buses will run to a normal Saturday service
Easter Sunday - Buses will run to a normal Sunday service
Easter Monday - Buses will run to a Sunday service
We believe that this still gives people more than enough buses to get them where they need to go. Don't forget that you need to wear a face covering when travelling on our buses unless you have a legal exemption.
