Closure of Reading Bridge

2 weeks ago Fri 26th Jun 2020

Reading Bridge will be closed to all traffic from Monday 29 June for up to six weeks due to gas main replacement works by Scotia Gas Networks (SGN).

The road closure will, obviously, mean diversions and disruption to some of our Caversham services; berry 23 & 24, pink 25, little berries 27/29 and school route 82.

Whilst every effort has been made to limit disruption, we are reminding customers that works such as this have an impact on punctuality and so we advise (as always!) checking the Reading Buses app before you travel and to keep updated on our Facebook and Twitter feeds.

We will be doing our best to respond to any delays with spare buses and drivers where possible.
