Christmas buses – summary of service

With Christmas fast approaching, we know that many of you will want to know what your buses are doing over the festive period.
Whilst we are still working on the last few details of our Christmas timetables, we can share with you what service level to expect on most routes over the period.
As with previous years, many of our buses will be running to their Saturday timetables during this period, with Sunday times on the public holidays. You can find your route’s normal Saturday and Sunday timetables on our Routes & times page.
Please note that the service levels below may not apply to all of our routes, however, they will generally apply to most. It is also worth noting that any route that does not normally run on a Sunday or Public Holiday will not run on a day allocated as a Sunday or Public Holiday service.
On Monday 1 January, there will be football buses in operation for the Reading FC vs Exeter City game.

Special service with buses finishing early between 7 and 8pm. Services that run 24 hours will have additional buses and finish between 11pm and midnight |
