Changes to pink 22 diversion due to Kidmore Road closure

2 weeks ago Fri 9th May 2025

Due to the ongoing closure of Kidmore Road in Caversham for emergency repairs by Thames Water, our pink 22 route is currently on diversion.

Starting from Monday 12 May, we'll be making changes to it's current diversion route to help serve as much of the affected area as possible.

diversion route

From Reading, pink 22 buses will run via St Andrews Church and Uplands Road as usual. Following this, they will turn right onto Kidmore Road, stopping at a temporary stop located outside the Miller and Carter. They will then turn right onto Richmond Road, crossing the Albert Road / Conisbro Avenue junction and stopping at the Richmond Road bus stop. Buses will then continue to Upper Woodcote Road, stopping at St Peter's Avenue, Gurney Close and Blagrave Lane before turning onto Shepherds Lane where there is a temporary stop. Buses will then run down Woodcote Way, stopping at Hilltop Road and returning to it's usual route towards Reading.
