Changes to leopard (and tiger 7)
We are now able to release the details of the changes to the leopard routes which will change from Monday 8 February.
We have been looking long and hard at these routes to try and ensure that we maintain links for people still using them, but at the same time, remove some of the buses that are running with extremely low numbers of customers.
At the same time, we have also been in talks with Wokingham Borough Council about the number of people travelling on the later, council-supported, journeys on the tiger 7.
These changes are the last phase of our temporary changes brought on by the current lockdown.
Leopard 3 will be reduced between Reading and Arborfield Green from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes. There will still be an hourly service between Reading – Wokingham during the week and on Saturdays.
Leopard 8 and 9 will both become hourly, providing a half-hourly service between Reading and Spencers Wood and the new developments in Shinfield West.
Evenings and Sundays on all leopard services will remain similar to current, but may have some tweaked times.
The leopard X3 will now only have two departures in each direction rather than three, with some amended times to compensate.
To help students still get to school from Reading/Shinfield, schools route 903 will be reinstated and will be for Bohunt School students only. See the leopard 3 timetable above for times.
The late evening (Thursday – Saturday only) journeys will be suspended, all other journeys continue to run current ‘school holiday’ times.
