Every year we work with a local or national charity that supports local people, to help raise awareness of their work within our workforce, to our customers and to people who live and work in the areas served by our network.  We look for a charity which is able to partner with us and provide its expertise to help us raise funds and awareness as a joint enterprise.

Fundraising – each year we aim to fundraise around £10,000. The biggest fundraising event of our year is our annual Open Day which is attended by thousands of people, raising funds for our charity of the year. Along with this, we work with and support the charity throughout the year through various events and activities such as sponsored walks and even bake sales. 

On-bus publicity – your advert will be shown on our fleet of over 150 buses, all across our route network from Reading, Bracknell, Newbury and even Central London!

We carry over 66,000 passengers every day – that’s over 24 million people every year so you’ll get plenty of exposure with our customers.

You’ll also get a charity-wrapped bus! This bus will operate around our network as part of our fleet across all of our routes and is sure to turn heads. 

Website promotion and social media – We’ll include a link and details all about your charity on our home page and a dedicated webpage and we will promote your events through our Twitter, Instagram & Facebook accounts.

who can apply?

We need applications from the charity themselves, so if you work for a charity simply follow the instructions in the how to apply section.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from individuals who do not work for the charity directly, however, please feel free to let your favourite charity know we are open for submissions!

We are open to most charities, but there are some criteria that need to be adhered to. Your charity needs to be fully registered with the Charity Commission and have a charity number. You should be able to support a number of events throughout the year and have a single contact who can work with us throughout the year.
