Assistant Operations Manager wanted

Reading buses is a major provider of bus services in Reading and surrounding areas. We are one of Reading’s largest employers with over 400 employees and 150 buses, delivering over 70,000 passenger journeys each day.

Following an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the direct line management of our driver colleagues, with an initial focus on managing driving standards and related admin activities.

The right candidate will take full ownership of your area of responsibility, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with required standards.

Experience in a management role is not essential, however you must be able to demonstrate how you meet the requirements of the role. A Transport Manager CPC qualification is desirable, but not essential.
