students pay less

what's Boost?

All University of Reading students qualify for our discounted Boost fares (our name for 'child fares'), so you'll pay up to a third less than the adult fare, meaning you've got more money to spend on other things!

You must show your student ID to the driver when you buy any Boost product, otherwise you may be asked to pay full adult price.

Buy one of these and you'll get 10 single trips for the price of 8 - only £13*. This is perfect for those 'I can't be bothered to walk' moments or if the weather's not great! Simply tap the card on our ticket machine by the driver to deduct a trip from your total. You can top it up online when you're running low on trips. Use the trips whenever you like - there's no expiry date. Simply pay as you go!
