Introducing our new route 12 from Twyford

We're exited to announce our brand new route 12, starts Monday 3 November, running between Twyford and Central Reading, via Shepherds Hill and London Road. Route 12 is an ideal way to head into Reading from Twyford, Charvil and Sonning, whether it’s for some retail therapy or for a great day out.
Special introductory fare
As part of the launch this new service, single tickets on-bus will cost just £1.50 and a returns just £2.30 for the first two weeks of service – until end of service Saturday 15 November.
After this, an adult single ticket will cost £3 and return tickets £4.50 from Twyford to Reading.
Boost tickets for under-19s will be £2.40 single and £4 return from Twyford to Reading.
Timetable
Route 12 will run daytime Mondays to Saturdays, up to every 30 minutes.
On Monday to Fridays, buses will run between 9am and 2.30pm, and on Saturdays, buses will run between 9am and 5pm. It will take between 20-30 minutes to get you between Twyford and Reading.
Outside these times, Thames Valley Buses buses 128 and 129 services (and on Saturdays, their 127 service too) can help you get to and from Twyford, with return and day tickets being valid on these buses too.

Route
Towards Twyford, buses will start at Central Reading stop FC and call at Blagrave Street stop EO (for Reading Station) and Kings Road stop ME. They will then head along London Road, using the bus lane to avoid traffic and up Shepherds Hill, through Sonning and Charvil to Twyford Crossroads, where buses will then loop around Twyford via Wargrave Road, Longfield Road, stopping outside Waitrose.
From Twyford, buses will run from Waitrose to Twyford Crossroads, before heading through Charvil, Sonning, Sheppards Hill and along London Road into Central Reading, stopping at Blagrave Street stop EO (for Reading Station) and finishing at Friar Street stop FC.
Route 12 serves all stops along London Road and Kings Road in Reading making the route perfect for anyone heading to and from Suttons Business Park, Palmer Park, Cemetery Junction, Reading College as well as both the Royal Berkshire Hospital and University of Reading (London Road campus) from the Eldon Road stop.
new Thames Valley route 20
On Monday 3 November, our sister company will also be launching a brand-new route too - route 20.
This route will run hourly Monday to Saturday between Maidenhead and High Wycombe, running via St Mark's Hospital, Cookham village, Bourne End Station and Marlow Hill Schools.
