Learn about the history of Berkshire at Reading Museum. Open Tuesday-Saturday, the museum is home to nearly 500,000 artefacts including a Victorian copy of the Bayeux Tapestry and the relics of an entire roman town undiscovered for over 1000 years.
Admission is free and also houses more recent history, exploring the roots of Reading and its growth.
