This is due to SGN works
Customers needing stops between Budgens and Spencer’s Wood post office will need to use TVSP service. You will need to use the Square bus stop on Hyde end road or St Michaels Hall on Basingstoke Road.
Please ask the driver if you are unsure which service to take.
Mereoak Park and Ride 600 towards Riseley from Mereoak Park will be a non stop services, this bus will divert via A33, B3349 onto Basingstoke Road. We shall run down to Swallowfield Street to resume normal route towards The Bull. This is for Passengers needing Swallowfield Street and The Street.
Mereoak Park and ride inbound journey to Reading will divert from the Bull back down to Swallowfield Street and The Street, then run non stop between The Bull and Mereoak Park, from Mereoak Park we shall resume normal line of route towards Reading.

The Northumberland Avenue INBOUND LANE only lane towards Reading and Buckland Road circle Roundabout at the junction of long barn Lane will be closed from Friday 11th September 2026 until further notice.
This is due to Thames Water Works
Customers wanting to use Buckland Road Circle bus stop inbound towards Reading will need to use Whitley Community Centre or Corbridge Road stops. Due to the surrounding roads being full of cars we will not be able to out any temp stops out.
Emerald 5 Towards Northumberland Avenue Terminus will follow normal line of route
Emerald 5 towards reading will divert via Long Barn Lane, Canterbury Road to resume normal line of route from Hexham Road.
Buzz 9 towards Green park will divert via Buckland Road, Basingstoke Road, Long Barn Lane then onto Northumberland Avenue.
Buzz 9 towards Reading will divert via Long Barn Lane, Basingstoke Road, Buckland Road then onto Cressingham Road to resume normal route.
