Dunbar Drive - Stop suspended
The Dunbar Drive stops will be suspended from Monday, 14 September 2026 until Friday, 18 September 2026 due to roadworks at the stop.
Please use the following alternative stops:
• little oranges 19a (towards Woodley): Oak Drive or Herald Way
• little oranges 19c (towards Central Reading): Herald Way or Oak Drive
• orange 13 (towards Woodley): Oak Drive or Herald Way
• orange 14 (towards Central Reading): Herald Way or Oak Drive

Suspension of Palmerstone Road bus stops
The Palmerstone Road bus stops on Church Road will be out of use from Tuesday 8th September until Friday 25th September 2026
This is due to the Wokingham Cycle Lane works
Customers are advised to use Eastcourt Avenue Hail and ride or Bulmershe Court bus stops or Anderson Avenue bus stops instead.

Closure of The Northumberland Avenue INBOUND LANE only lane towards Reading and Buckland Road circle Roundabout at the junction of long barn Lane
The Northumberland Avenue INBOUND LANE only lane towards Reading and Buckland Road circle Roundabout at the junction of long barn Lane will be closed from Friday 11th September 2026 until further notice.
This is due to Thames Water Works
Customers wanting to use Buckland Road Circle bus stop inbound towards Reading will need to use Whitley Community Centre or Corbridge Road stops. Due to the surrounding roads being full of cars we will not be able to out any temp stops out.
Emerald 5 Towards Northumberland Avenue Terminus will follow normal line of route
Emerald 5 towards reading will divert via Long Barn Lane, Canterbury Road to resume normal line of route from Hexham Road.
Buzz 9 towards Green park will divert via Buckland Road, Basingstoke Road, Long Barn Lane then onto Northumberland Avenue.
Buzz 9 towards Reading will divert via Long Barn Lane, Basingstoke Road, Buckland Road then onto Cressingham Road to resume normal route.

Closure of Barkham Road between Bearwood Road and Molly Millars Lane
Barkham Road will be closed (between Barkham Bull & Bearwood Road) from Monday 14th September until Friday 13TH November 2026.
This is due to work by Thames Water
Leopard 3 will be diverting during this time.
During this time we will not be able to use any stops along Barkham Road from Bearwood Road upto Molly Millars Lane. We will also not serve any stops along Nine Mile Ride during the closure customers will need to use Barkham Ride stops.
Customers will need to use stops along Barkham Ride and Finchampstead Road. Customers needing any stops along Barkham Road will need to use Molly Millars Lane bus stop or a stops along Finchampstead Road
Leopard 3 towards Wokingham Will divert as follows Park Lane, Biggs Lane onto Langley Common Road then into Barkham Ride, Finchampstead Road into Molly Millars Lane to resume Normal route from Molly Millars lane bus stop on Barkham Road.
Leopard 3 Towards Reading will divert as follows after serving Molly Millars Lane bus stop will go onto Molly Millars Lane, Finchampstead Road, Barkham Ride onto Langley Common Road , Biggs Lane becoming Park Lane to resume normal line of route from Marino Way drive.

Closure of Blagrave Street
The section of Blagrave Street between Forbury Road and Valpy Street will be closed between 19:00-01:00 each night from Tuesday 15th September until Thursday 17th September 206
This is due to Resurfacing Works by Reading Borough Council.
During the closure of Blagrave, Valpy Street all buses will be diverted
Services are affected as follows: -
Jet Black 1 lime 2 will start and finish out side of Apex PLaza stop EL divert via Minster Street using Stop MQ
Yellow 26 and Royal Blue 33 will divert via Forbury Road slip road , then Market Place into Minster Street outbound using Stop MQ
Leopard 3 Little Orange 19s and Buzz 9 will divert outbound via Forbury Road slip road to resume normal route from MA market Place
Emerald 5,6,6a, Claret 21 and Bronze 11 will divert via Forbury Road Slip Road to resume normal route from Market Place.
Lion 4,4a and Purple 17 towards Wokingham and Three Tuns Will not serve Blagrave Street all Journeys will start from FN and then Forbury Road slip road onto Market Place to resume normal line of route. Journeys toward Water tower not affected
Orange 13,14 will divert via the Forbury to pick up normal route from Huntley and Palmers
sky blue 15,15a,16 will Terminate and start from Friar Street FN the will then divert via Forbury Road , Market Place into Minster Street turn into St Marys Butts to resume normal route from Cheapside
Aqua 28 to terminate and Start from Forbury Road EL bus stop
pink 22,25 Berry 23,24 will follow normal line of route
Little Berry 29 inbound will divert via Vastern Road ,Caversham Road into Friar street outbound will not be affected
Buzz 18 towards Tilehurst will start from Greyfriars Road Bus stop FG
500 Park and Ride ill divert via Forbury Road Slip Road to Market Place into Kings Road to resume normal line of route.
