Closure of Headley Road East affecting orange 13 & 14 and Football F32
Headley Road East between Headley Road Circle and Oakdale Walk is closed due to emergency roadworks until Monday 7th September 2026.
• orange 13 towards Central Reading and Football F32 returning from Stadium will divert via Welford Road & Lunds Farm Road.
• orange 14 towards Woodley and Football F32 towards Stadium will divert via Lunds Farm Road & Welford Road.
Diversion Bus Stop Information:
• orange 13 towards Central Reading will not call at 'Headley Close NE-bound' and 'Oakdale Walk'. For services towards Central Reading, please use 'Woodley Piazza' or 'Brandon Avenue'.
• orange 14 towards Woodley will not call at 'Oakdale Walk SE-bound' and 'Headley Close'. For services towards Woodley, please use 'Brandon Avenue' or 'Woodley Piazza'.

Closure of Woodlands Avenue junction of Church Road
Woodlands Avenue will be closed at the junction of Church Road from Monday 27th July until Tuesday 8th September 2026.
This is due to new road layouts by Wokingham council.
Customers will need to use temp stops on Pitts Lane for Church Road and stops along Howth Drive for Bulmershe Sports Centre.
During this time Little Oranges 19a,19c will need to divert in both directions:
Little Oranges 19a will divert from Beechwood Avenue via Howth Drive, Reading Road, Pitts Lane to resume normal route from Culver Lane.
Little Oranges 19c will divert from Culver Lane Via Pitts Lane, Shepherds House Hill Roundabout, Reading Road into Howth Drive to resume normal route from Beechwood Avenue.

Closure of Woodlands Avenue junction with Church Road
Woodlands Avenue will be closed at the junction with Church Road from Monday 24th August until Tuesday 8th September 2026.
This is due to new road layouts by Wokingham council.
Customers wanting Bulmershe Sports Centre will need to use stops along Fairwater Drive Water and for Church Road will need to use temp stops along Pitts Lane.
All stops along the diversion will be Observed.
Orange 13 will divert via Pitts Lane , Shepherds House Hill roundabout, Reading Road, Howth Drive then right onto Woodlands Avenue then left into Fairwater Drive to resume normal line of route.
Orange 14 will after serving Antrim Road bus stop will turn right into Woodlands Avenue, Howth Drive, Reading Road onto Shepherds House Hill Roundabout , Pitts Lane to resume normal route from Whitegates Lane Bus stops

Closure of Friar Street
Friar Street will be closed in both directions from Station Road to West Street junctions for 24 hours from 19:00 Monday 7th September until Thursday 10th September 2026. This will be a 24-hour closure due to raised iron work in the carriage way.
Services will be diverted via Caversham Road, Vastern Road and Forbury Road.
