suspension of UOR London Street bus stop
The UOR London Road bus stop will be out of use from Monday 2nd November until Monday 23rd November 2026
This is for works by Reading Borough Council Highways.
Customers are advised to use Crown Street bus stops on London Street Instead.

Closure of St Marys Butts and Forbury Road for Remembrance Sunday Parade 9:15-10:45
On Sunday 8th November 2026 Bridge Street and St. Mary’s Butts will be closed between 0915 and 1045
During these closures All buses will be diverting please see below
Jet Black 1 towards Newbury will divert via West Street, Cheapside bus stop CX, Russell Street to resume normal route from Russell Street stop Bath Road.
Towards Reading Jet Black 1 and lime 2, Yellow 26 Royal Blue 33 will follow normal route.
Lime 2 towards Burghfield will divert after Friar Street EP stop as follows Friar Street, West Street, Cheapside bus stop CX, Russell Street to resume normal route from Russell Street stop Bath Road.
Yellow 26, towards Calcot will divert via Friar Street, West Street, Cheapside Stop CX, Russell Street to then resume normal route from Russell Street bus stop on Bath Road.
Leopard 3 ,Claret 21 towards Reading will be diverting via Crown Street , Southampton Street, IDR, Chatham Street into Friar St to resume normal route to terminus.
Lion 4,4a towards Reading will divert via Queens Road, IDR, Chatham Street onto Friar Street to terminate at Friar Street FN.
Emerald 5,6,6a Bronze 11, towards Reading will divert via IDR, Chatham Street into Friar Street to resume normal route from Station Road.
Mereoak 600 ,50a towards Reading will divert via IDR, Chatham Street into Friar Street to resume normal route from Station Road.
Royal Blue 33 towards Turnham Farm will divert as follows Friar Street, West Street, Cheapside bus stop CX, Russell Street to resume normal route from Russell Street stop Bath Road.
Sky blue 15 and Sky Blue 16 will follow normal roue.
Purple 17 towards Tilehurst from Wokingham Road will divert as follows from Queens Road bus stops , Forbury Road, Blagrave Street , Friar St into West Street to resume normal route from Cheapside bus stop.
Purple 17 towards Wokingham Road will follow normal line of route until 10:45.

Closure of Forbury for Remembrance Sunday 10:20 -11:30
The Forbury (by the War Memorial) will be closed between 1020 and 1130 for Remembrance Sunday commemorations on Sunday 8th November 2026.
During these closures All buses will be diverting please see below
Leopard 3 towards Arborfield /Wokingham from Station Road will divert via Blagrave Street, Forbury Road, Kings Road to resume normal route from Eldon Road.
Customers will need to use Station Road bus stops or Eldon Road during this closure.
Emerald 5,6,6a, claret 21, Bronze 11 will divert via Blagrave Street, Forbury Road, Kings Road Gyratory onto Queens Road to resume normal route from London Street Foot.
Customers will need to use Station Road for Emerald 5,6,6a, Claret 21 and for Bronze 11 Friar Street FM or London Street Foot instead.
Lion 4,4a Purple 17 and Buzz 18 will need to divert Via Station Road, Blagrave Street, Valpy Street slip Road, Forbury Road, to resume normal Route from Huntley and Palmers bus stops.
Orange 13,14 will need to divert via Station Road ,Blagrave Street, Forbury Road, Kings Road to resume normal route from Huntley and Palmers bus stop.
Mereoak 600,50a will need to divert via Blagrave Street, Forbury Road, Kings Road Gyratory onto Queens Road to resume normal route onto the IDR.
