Suspension of Burghfield Golf Course bus stops in Both Directions
The Burghfield Golf Course bus stops on Burghfield Road will be out of use from Monday 8th June until Monday 20th July 2026.
This is due to utilities works
Customers are advised to use the Cunning Man bus stops instead.

Extra bus 08:00 Reading to Bath Road
From Monday 1st June, there will be an extra double deck bus on the 08:00 Lime 2 journey from Blagrave Street. This will operate Mondays to Fridays only.
This journey will run as far as Dwyer Road bus stop on Burghfield Road. Any customers for the Wren, Kings Academy Prospect or Hugh Faringdon should board this extra double deck bus.
The single deck bus will continue to Burghfield and Mortimer. Any customers for Willink School should wait to board the single deck bus.

Closure on Padworth Road affecting lime 2, lime 2a
lime 2, 2a is affected by a road closure on Padworth Road for roadworks. This is affecting the route between Burghfield and Tadley AWE. Buses are diverting via Reading Road, Victoria Road, Stephens Road, West End Road & Welshmans Road in both directions. Stops between 'Three Firs Way' and 'Easter Park' will not be served in either direction. There are delays of up to 10 minutes. We apologise for the disruption to your journey. Transport Through the Ages Procession - buses cannot serve Mortimer
Victoria Road, West End Road and Stephens Road in Mortimer will be closed between 1000-1300 on Saturday 27th June 2026.
This is for a procession to celebrate Transport through the ages.
All Journeys will finish at Burghfield Village Hall during this time. This is because there is no suitable place for buses to turn around during the closure.
