Kings Road bus lane closure towards Reading

The westbound (towards Reading) Kings Road bus lane will be closed from 08:00 Tuesday 3rd August until 18:00 Wednesday 5th August 2026
This closure is for works by Reading Borough Council
Buses will divert via London Road observing the bus stop just before Blenheim Road. Then continue ahead and turn right on to Sidmouth Street. Right Queens Road and left on to Watlington Street gyratory to re-join normal route Kings Road to Reading Town Centre.
Buses will be unable to serve stops on Kings Road at Cemetery Junction, Reading College and Eldon Road.

Osborne Road (Windsor) is closed due to burst water main. Diversions on the London Line 702 & Flightline 703
1st - 7th Aug 2026
Due to Osborne Road (Windsor) being closed caused by a burst water main, the London Line 702 & Flightline 703 is following a diversion:
• London Line 702 & Flightline 703 towards London Victoria / Heathrow will divert via Alma Road, Clarence Road & Victoria Street, serving all stops along the diversion. London Line 702 & Flightline 703 towards Legoland will operate as normal.
Diversion Bus Stop Information:
• London Line 702 & Flightline 703 towards London Victoria / Heathrow will not call at 'All Saints' Church Stop AX' and 'Grove Road Stop FS'. For services towards London Victoria / Heathrow, please use 'King Edward VII Hospital Stop JD' or 'Parish Church Stop HA'. Alternatively, you can use stops along the roads listed on the diversion route where bus stops are available. Please clearly hail the bus as it approaches.

Closure of Berkshire Way Between Doncastle Road and Jennetts Park roundabout towards Wokingham and Jennetts Park Roundabout
3rd - 15th Aug 2026
Berkshire Way between Doncastle Road and Jennetts Park roundabout to the exit onto A329 towards Wokingham. Will be closed overnight from 20:00 -06:00 each night from Monday 3rd August until Saturday 15th August 2026
This is due to carriage repairs.
During this time London Line 701 will be diverted.
London Line 701 will divert via Doncastle Road, Peacock Lane, Waterloo Road , William Heelas Way then onto Keephatch to pick up formal line of route on the a329.
Lion 4 towards Bracknell will divert via William Heelas Way, Waterloo Road , Peacock Lane to pick up normal line of route from Peacock Farm bus stop.
Lion 4 towards Wokingham Will divert as follows Peacock Lane, Waterloo Road , William Heelas Way then onto Keephatch Gardens u-turn at the roundabout to resume normal line of route from Keephatch Gardens inbound bus stop

Changing of the Guard - diversion
6th May 2022 onwards
During the changing of the Guard, Sheet Street and High Street in Windsor are closed so buses cannot pass. This means London Line 702 & Flightline 703 will divert away from bus stops in this area and divert via Alma Road and Arthur Road - please check if the Changing of the Guard is happening on dates that you are travelling to avoid being caught out.
