  • Emergency Closure of Eldon Road

    25th May 2021 - 21st Jun 2021

    Eldon Road will be closed from 0930 on Tuesday 25 May 2021 until completion of emergency road works.

    This is due to a collapsed sewer in Eldon Road.

    Journeys going towards Royal Berkshire Hospital will be diverted and unable to serve the bus stop in Eldon Road.

    Customers are advised to use the RBH Main Entrance bus stop in Craven Rad instead.

  • Emergency Closure of Market Place

    16th Jun 2021 - 4th Jul 2021

    Market Place will be closed to all traffic from 1200 on Wednesday 16 June 2021 until completion of emergency road works.

    This is to enable Thames Water to repair a collapsed sewer.

    Market Place stops MA and MC, Duke Street (Kings Road) stops ME and MF and the Huntley & Palmers (towards RBH) bus stops will not be in use. Customers are advised to use alternative Friar Street and/or Station area bus stops instead.

    Additionally, Services 42 and 42a will be unable to serve Minster Street or St. Mary's Butts
