Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month you can get fresh, locally produced ingredients at the Reading Farmers' Market on Great Knollys Street.
Be there early at 8.30am to chat with the food producers (you can't do that at the supermarket!) and support the community working hard to produce the best food the Thames Valley has to offer. Not to worry if it’s a bit drizzly, the market is covered. The Market will close at 12.30 so make sure to set an alarm so you don’t miss out!
