simplyBus is the new name for our range of tickets. Single, day and adult 7 day tickets can be purchased from the driver. However there are significant savings to be made by purchasing a period ticket which are available for you to use via a simplyBus.co.uk smartcard. You can purhcase your simplyBus card at our online shop (click here) or visit our Travel Centre in the Broad Street Mall, Monday to Saturday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. Alternatively call us on 0118 959 4000 and we can take your order and payment over the telephone.
We have introduced this range to simplify things for our customers. The new simplyBus range of tickets will be effective from Tuesday 6 April when our current weekly tickets which are a maze of zonal boundaries and different prices will no longer be available.
The new simplyBus range of tickets is for people travelling throughout Reading or Newbury without the worry of over-riding into the next zone.
The new areas are: Reading, Newbury and Thatcham, and Network – the latter including every service in the total bus network.
Once you have the desired ticket loaded onto your simplyBus smartcard, you can then top them up by visiting our Travel Centre in the Broad Street Mall, Monday to Saturday 9.00 am until 5.30 pm, or order a new card at on online shop or call us on 0118 959 4000.
