lime weekly - £19. Buy from the driver, valid 7 days only on lime 2 & 2a buses. Buy online for only £18!

lime off-peak group - £8. Buy after 7pm weekdays or all day on weekends and bank holidays. Only available to buy from the driver on lime 2 & 2a buses, but can be used on all other services. Up to 4 people travel together until end of service on day ticket is bought (up to 4am on purple 17).

Evening fares

We have reduced the cost of travelling after 7pm every single night!

Off into town to catch a film, shoot some pool or just to enjoy a drink at one of the many quality pubs and bars in town? Or maybe you are going bowling in Calcot or meeting a friend on the university campus? It's now even cheaper to travel by bus at night.

If you are travelling within the simplyReading boundary, you can now get a return for £2.30 (a saving of over a quid!) or a Group Ticket for up to four people for just £5 (even 3 people will save!) That's much cheaper than a taxi there and back!

RailAir - A partnership 'taking-off'

You can now buy a special through ticket on any of our buses in the simplyReading area and use this ticket on the coach from Central Reading to get to Heathrow! Simply ask the driver for a RailAir single, day return or period return. This gives you travel on both Reading Buses and RailAir coaches according to the validity of that ticket.

Adults or children pay just £1.20 for your bus fare to Tilehurst Triangle and £1.20 back again on royal blue 33.

Your yellow 26 bus takes you from Swanholm Gardens to Calcot Sainsbury's for just £1.20.

This offer is also available on your jet black 1, valid between Greenwood Road near the Horncastle and Calcot Sainsbury’s or from Theale (Theale West, Wigmore Lane) to Calcot Sainsbury’s.

£1.20 to University of Reading on claret routes

Visitors to the Royal Berkshire Hospital (up to South Wing stop only) can travel there from the town centre for just £1.20 each way.  That's a lot cheaper than parking!
 
Our £1.20 hospital fare is available from the town centre on our frequent red 9 buses and on route 19 & 19a midi buses.

This fare is available from the driver from any stop between Central Reading (Station Road stop EA) and the Royal Berkshire Hospital (South Wing stop) in either direction.
