Master Technician 
£17.50 ph

We are looking for a Master Technician to improve skills and productivity across the Engineering workforce as the workshop improves and grows.

This role will be:

  • Inspecting vehicles and describe faults accurately
  • Responsible for diagnosis of vehicle faults and problems
  • Making repairs to the vehicle across all technical disciplines
  • Supervising individual tasks to build productivity
  • Training and developing other members of staff to improve skills
  • Completing an external training course for one year to build a second major discipline. The training will be funded and provided but this additional work will be unpaid.

Vehicle Inspector        £15.19 ph

Vehicle Technicians    £13.93 ph

We are looking for multi-skilled vehicle technicians, with a background in Mechanical or Body trades, to fill a position within our team.

This role will be:

         •    Making repairs across all technical disciplines
         •    Particularly focused on Mechanical or Body repairs
         •   Performing planned tasks within the workshop
         •    Opportunity to join the Emergency Crew tackling unplanned work, either at our depot or attending vehicles at the roadside.
         •    Experience completing vehicle inspections would be an advantage

Training

Already got a PCV licence but want to improve your driving skills? Do you have staff who need a driving assessment or CPC hours?

 

Here are the courses we have available for drivers with a full PCV licence.

Practical Driver Assessments

Driving Assessment (up to 2 hours) from £35.00 + VAT

  • Target "at risk" drivers
  • Reduce vehicle abuse (due to faulty driving)
  • Improve driving skills

Assessments carried out by NVQ Qualified assessors.

Drivers CPC Course

Safe and Efficient driving 7 hours. Includes:

  • Eco-friendly driving
  • Accident damage/repair costs

Course costs 1 - 5 drivers £85.00 + VAT per driver per day.
