VAMOOZ will be launching a new school service between Caversham Heights and schools in the Royal Berkshire Hospital area, also stopping in Central Reading at the station.
The new V81 bus will address overcrowding on other routes, using crowd funding to assess demand and get people the best fare – the more people that sign up, the less everyone pays for their ticket.
Guarantee your seat on the student-only service
Starting in September for the new school year, the V81 will serve The Reading School and Kendrick School while Abbey School will be able to use the service in the morning. Tickets must be bought through the VAMOOZ app, which then guarantees users a seat on the dedicated students-only service.
Reduce the cost for all – share with your friends
VAMOOZ already operates across the UK, including several successful school journeys in the Harrogate area, and works with groups of parents, students and with schools to look at demand for new services. As soon as there is enough demand for a new service, it can be started straight away.
