Timetable changes - Tuesday 2 January

1 year ago Mon 11th Dec 2023

We will be introducing new timetables onto some of our routes from Tuesday 2 January. Many of these changes will focus on improvements to reliability however there will also be changes to two of our routes.

Route 9 will be rebranded to buzz 9 and will be extended from Whitley Wood to Reading Green Park station via Imperial Way. The new buzz 9 will run hourly Monday to Friday as well as now running on Saturdays too. We are also introducing buzz branded buses to the route too, so be sure to keep an eye out for the eye-catching new look! The improvements to this route have been funded by Reading Borough Council's Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) funding from the Department for Transport.

The London Line 702 will now also operate as The London Line 701 for the early and late journeys that start and end in Central Reading and as the London Line 702 for all other journeys between Legoland and Central London. Connections are guaranteed and you will be able to stay on the bus when travelling on both routes. Departure times have also been changed on the London Line 702 to help improve reliability.
