Rolling closure of bus stops on Barkham Ride

The bus stops along Barkham Ride will be out of use until Friday 28th March 2025 on a rolling closure basis.

This is for works on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council.

Bus stops will be closed on a rolling basis. Temporary bus stops will be put out by the contractors.

Until these are in place, buses will drop off and pick up passengers at any safe place not obstructed by the works.

Please use any temporary bus stops put out by the contractors or use hail & ride instead.

Suspension of RBH Main Entrance bus stop

RBH Main Entrance Bus Stop (outbound) will be closed from Tuesday 18th March to Thursday 20th March 2025.

This is due to emergency works by Thames Water.

Passengers are advised to use RBH South Wing.

Suspension of California Country Park bus stop towards Wokingham

The California Country Park bus stop towards Wokingham will be out of use from Monday 17th until Monday 24th March 2025.

This is due to emergency works by SGN.

Please use the previous stop, Colsehill Farm, or the next stop along, Manor Park Drive as alternatives.

Suspension of The Moderation Bus stop outbound

The Moderation outbound bus stop will be out of use from Thursday 13th March until Friday 11th April 2025.

This is Due to Road works.

Customers are advised to use Swansea Road, Bridge Street or Rivermead Leisure centre bus stops instead.

Suspension of Harrogate Road bus stop

Harrogate bus stop is currently within SGN emergency roadworks making it unsuitable for buses to stop. This work is expected to last until 20th March 2025

Please use St Peters Avenue or Highmoor Road Church bus stops instead.

Not possible to use Hartland Rd bus stops on the emerald 5, buzz 9, buzz 9a & buzz 9b

It is not possible to use Hartland Rd bus stops on the emerald 5, buzz 9, buzz 9a & buzz 9b because of Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks roadworks with temporary traffic lights.

Please use the Stockton Road bus stops instead.

Emergency closure of Kidmore Road (Caversham)

13th Jan 2025 onwards

Due to an emergency road closure of Kidmore Road by Sandcroft Road and Shepherds Lane, Pink 22 & School Bus 81 are on diversion.

Buses are diverting via Richmond Road, Upper Woodcote Road, Shepherds Lane and resuming normal route from Hilltop Road bus stop on Woodcote Way.

We are unable to serve the following stops: Richmond Road, Uplands Road, Kidmore Road & Shepherds Lane.

UPDATE
Today, 31st January 2025, we have put a temporary bus stop on Shepherds Lane, before buses turn right into Woodcote Way. Customers are able to board and alight buses at this temporary stop.

UPDATE 13th February
I would like to update you all on stops, please be advised we are serving stops on Upper Woodcote Road also before we turn into Shepherds Lane, we have also be advised this diversion will continue for longer period of time.

Suspension of Doles Farm outbound bus stop

This is for work taking place By Volker Highways.

Customers are advised to use the Lower Doles Hill or Smalley Close bus stops instead

Closure of Station Road (Wokingham) 09:30 - 16:00

31st Mar 2025

Station Road in Wokingham will be closed between 0930 and 1600 on Monday 31st March 2025. This is for carriageway defect repairs and associated works by Wokingham Borough Council

Leopard 3 from Wokingham Broad Street will divert via Rectory Rd, Wiltshire Rd, Peach St, Denmark St & Molly Millars Ln. resulting in being unable to serve Wokingham Hospital and Molly Millars Lane stops. Please use Wokingham Broad Street or Woosehill Lane stops instead.

Leopard 3 towards Wokingham will be able to use normal route
