St Patrick's Party

28th March

Please note this game is now postponed.

It's going to be another great occasion as London Irish take on Northampton Saints for the St Patrick’s Party game!

This year will be the final St Patrick's Party at the Madejski Stadium before the club moves back to London for the 2020/21 season.

If the game itself wasn't enough to get you excited, there's a host of amazing entertainment to be enjoyed.

As well as the game, the St Patrick's Party Village will be open from 12pm to 2.30pm, and 4.45pm to 7pm.

In the village:

  • Stage: The MacManus Brothers and Fionnghuala Devereux will be performing pre-match, with Irish band, Miracle Cure, keeping the music going post-match
  • Inflatables
  • Fairground rides and games
  • London Irish merchandise unit
  • Bar
  • Street Food outlets
  • Giveaways
  • Competitions
  • Face painting

The event is set to be a try-umph! Click here to get your tickets and find out more information. There's great offers for families, so why not take the kids along?

Get there by bus

Save the hassle and cost of parking by travelling to the event by bus! We will be running the frequent R1 shuttles between Reading Station stop WS and the Madejski Stadium. If you are leaving Reading Station by the south exit, just turn right and walk down the hill to the stop. You can also get to the stop using Greyfriars Road, just off Friar Street - turn right by the Greyfriar Pub and the buses are right in front of you!

Buses run at frequent intervals from 11.30am until 2.45pm - this allows enough time to get to the match.

Coming back from the match - buses run from 4.30pm from the Madejski Stadium (although we appreciate that most people will wait until a bit later to leave!) and run frequently until early evening. The last bus is at 8pm if there are still people around then!
