Closure of Duke Street Bridge

20th - 23rd May 2025

Duke Street Bridge will be closed from Tuesday 20th May until Friday 23rd May 2025.

This is for Openreach works.

During this closure services 5, 6, 6a, 11, 20 & 21 that would normally use Duke Street outbound will divert Via Kings Road, Huntley and Palmers along Queens Road to resume normal route from London Street Foot.

During this closure all services 10,50,600 that would normally use Duke Street outbound will divert Via Kings Road, Huntley and Palmers along Queens Road to resume normal route from London Street Foot/IDR.

Inbound journeys on route numbers:

Leopard 3, 9, little orange 19a, 19b & 19c and claret 21 will remain on normal route.

Suspension of Bridge Street bus stop and bus lane.

20th Jan 2025 - 22nd Sep 2025

The Bridge Street bus stop and bus Lane will out of use from Monday 20th January until 22nd September 2025. This is due to works to the civic centre.

Customers are advised to use the bus stop in St Marys Butts or the temporary stop placed before the civic centre.

23rd Oct 2023 onwards

Market Place bus stop MC will be out of use from Monday 23 October 2023 until the completion of the works adjacent, Approx 78 Weeks!

This is due to scaffolding encroaching the bus stop area.

Customers are advised to use the vacant bus stop further back outside Sloane Point
