Closure of Mill Lane

Mill Lane in Calcot will be closed at the junction with A4 Bath Road from Monday 22 July until Sunday 1 September 2019. This is for gas main renewal work. During this period jet black 1 and Service 33s are affected as follows:- Jet Black 1 Those morning peak journeys which normally operate via Beansheaf Estate will operate direct via A4 and observe all normal bus stops. For part of the period the Mill Lane bus stop will be out of use and customers are advised to use the adjacent Greenwood Road or Golf Club West Gate bus stops instead. Service 33s The afternoon journey will terminate at the Kettering Close bus stop. Beansheaf Bus Gate Please note that normal traffic will be using the Beansheaf Bus Gate. To assist with traffic flows, the Ledbury Drive bus stops will be out of use and customers are advised to use the adjacent Knollmead or Pemberton Gardens bus stops. Closure of Carter's Rise
22nd - 26th Jul
The section of Carter’s Rise between both ends of Calcot Place Drive will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day during the period 22 – 26 July 2019. This is for resurfacing work by West Berkshire Council. During these periods yellow 26 will divert via Calcot Place Drive, observing the bus stops at both ends. Berkeley Avenue and Southcote Road Bus Stops
28th - 29th Jul
The westbound (towards Calcot) Berkeley Avenue and the eastbound (towards Reading) Southcote Road bus stops on Bath Road will be out of use from 11.00pm on Sunday 28 July until 8.00am on Monday 29 July 2019. This is due to bridge safety inspection work by Network Rail. Customers normally using the Berkeley Avenue bus stop are advised to use the Downshire Square or Southcote Road bus stops whilst those normally using the Southcote Road bus stop are advised to use the Berkeley Avenue bus stop.
