Duke Street (King's Road) stop ME

Due to the redevelopment work at the former "Jackson's" department store it has become necessary, on safety grounds, to suspend the Duke Street (King's Road) stop ME bus stop. lion 4 and X4 and purple 17 will, for the time being, use the adjacent stop MF instead. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Closure of King's Road
23rd - 24th Mar
The section of King’s Road between the Town Centre and Watlington Street gyratory will be closed from 6.00am on Saturday 23 March until 10.00pm on Sunday 24 March 2019. This is due to the presence of a crane. During this period, buses are diverted as follows:- Leopard 3, 3b & 10, scarlet 9 and little orange 19a, 19b & 19c At Huntley & Palmers buses will observe the purple 17 bus stop on journeys towards Royal Berkshire Hospital. Orange 13 and 14 Journeys towards Woodley will not serve Duke Street (King’s Road) stop MF. Please use Reading Station stop EM instead. Lion 4/X4, purple 17, Winnersh Triangle 500 and green line 702 Towards London Road/Wokingham Road Buses will be unable to serve Blagrave Street stop EO or Duke Street stop MF. Please use stop EL in Forbury Road. Towards Central Reading (4/X4/17/500/702) and Tilehurst (17) The Huntley & Palmers (King’s Road), Duke Street (King’s Road) stop MG and Minster Street bus stops will be out of use. Please use Eldon Road (Queen’s Road) or St. Mary’s Butts bus stops instead. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Closure of Minster Street
27th - 28th Mar
Minster Street will be closed from 8.00pm on Wednesday 27 March until 5.00am on Thursday 28 March 2019. This is for light column maintenance work by Reading Borough Council contractors. During this period buses are diverted as follows:- Leopard 3/3b/10, scarlet 9 and claret 21 Journeys towards Central Reading will divert via Crown Street, Southampton Street and Bridge Street observing all bus stops on the diversion. Lion 4/X4 and purple 17 (towards St. Mary’s Butts) Buses will divert via Duke Street, IDR and Castle Street to St. Mary’s Butts. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
