The Royal County of Berkshire Show is back and better than ever!

The show organisers have now agreed that well-behaved dogs can be brought along meaning lots of canine enthusiasts are sure to descend on the show. 

The show opens at 8am and closes at 6pm on both days. 

how to get there by bus

We will once again be running the N10 service between Thatcham, Newbury Wharf and the Show at Newbury Showground. Buses pick up at stops along the route too!

from further afield

If you are travelling from Reading, Theale, Woolhampton etc, then it's really easy, and cheap, to use the N10 after getting the jet black to Thatcham.  Buy our great value simplyNetwork day ticket, anywhere on our Network. It’s valid on all our buses and also for transfer onto the N10 to get you to & from the show.

For groups, buy the ‘network group’ ticket which is just £10 on weekends and gives you unlimited travel all day for up to 4 people!

You can also use simplyNetwork period tickets (7, 30, 90, 365 days) on N10 too. Our simplyNewbury & Thatcham smartcards, other period tickets and concessionary passes are not valid on the ‘show shuttle’ N10.

The main arena hosts the fantastic Extreme Bike Battle stunt show who will be performing death-defying feats for your amusement!

There will also be many of the old favourites too:

  • The Food Hall: with over 70 stands, there is something for everyone.
  • Arts and Crafts: unique and unusual handmade gifts that show you care - find that perfect gift here!
  • Vintage Area: a huge display of vintage, classic and modern vehicles and equipment, with plenty of opportunities for kids to sit-on some of the tractors as well as enjoy and tractor-trailer ride!
  • Farming Zone: try a variety of hands-on activities, watch demonstrations and learn about why supporting British farming is so important.

There's also a great ‘have-a-go’ theme with activities for all the family as well as spectacular shows and stunts and, of course, the best livestock from around the UK on show.
