Here’s a fantastic opportunity for an awesome marketer to support the Reading Buses family with a broad range of marketing activities. Focusing on press relations and social media, but with lots of other variety, and starting salary of around £25k, it’s the perfect next step in your marketing career.

You will quickly learn and progress with hands on involvement in press relations, copywriting, multi-channel media, internal and external marketing, bus and product information, event management, creative briefing, budget control and lots of other exciting marketing stuff!

Ideally you have copywriting experience to write engaging content with a “tell-me-more!” feel for our products and services. You will have a great way with words, able to write compelling press releases and other customer communications. You will show an amazing attention to detail and have excellent proof-reading skills. We’re looking for someone who can stay calm and can 'spin lots of plates' at a time. Your ability to multi-task, prioritise and organise must be top-class.

This is an exciting new role which spans the Reading Buses family of brands including Reading Buses, Courtney Buses (in the process of being rebranded to Thames Valley) and Newbury & District. You will be located in two places - roughly split as three days in Reading for Reading Buses and two days in Bracknell with Courtney Buses.
